Our journey began in 2018, when we lost our beloved mother to cancer. It all happened so quickly that we barely had time to process it—one moment she was with us, and within weeks, she was gone. Her passing left a deep void in our hearts and lives. Emotionally, we were shattered. Financially, we struggled.

Just as we began to navigate our grief, the world was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. Our mother’s school, which she had built with care and dedication, was forced to close. Though we still had our jobs, they came without pay. Our father quietly took on the full weight of supporting us, while we tried to hold ourselves together.

Then came another difficult chapter—my sister was diagnosed with multiple cysts. It was like walking through the same storm all over again. Her road to recovery took nearly three years, but she came out stronger and more determined than ever.

From all these hardships came a profound realization: we needed to build something of our own—something sustainable, something empowering. So, with what little we had, and a lot of hope, we created SERIINELLE.
